May 04 2020 Demolition Works at Mark Hall Academy in Essex Demolition Blog SuperUser Account Demolition EssexMark Hall Academy demolitionMark Hall Academy Essex Mark Hall Academy in Essex were successful in their application to the Government’s Priority School Building Programme and secured £1.2 million to carry out significant improvements to a number of teaching blocks and classrooms. A much needed refurbishment programme is underway to improve the learning environment for their students, and the building of a brand new school is now complete. We're pleased to announce that TRD have secured the contract to carry out the demolition of the former school buildings and the project is well underway. Here we can see a render of the new school building before it was built. TRD's works include: - Protection of surrounding occupied school facilities and access routes; - Full soft-strip of former school structures; - Demolition of former school structures down to below slab level; - Grubbing up of footings; - Crushing of clean arisings to 6F2 grade The Outline Site Layout Plan can be seen below - it shows the extent of the demolition works we have carried out.
